Fusion Teachers Workshop

Who is the fusion teachers workshop for?

The fusion teachers workshop is perfect for Physics teachers across the UK teaching KS3, KS4, and A-level students.

This workshop aims to:

  • Increase your understanding of fusion energy.
  • Gain unique insights into how fusion could shape our energy future.
  • Take away practical knowledge to bring fusion concepts to life in the classroom.
  • Connect with industry professionals and educators passionate about fusion.

Over the next five years, the fusion sector will require an estimated 2,200 additional professionals, spanning roles from plasma scientists and technicians to engineers and project managers. UKAEA is dedicated to expanding the fusion community by connecting schools and academia with industry and research organisations. Together, we aim to build an ecosystem that fosters the cooperation essential to delivering fusion energy to the grid.
