Choose Occupational Health are passionate about supporting managers with their workplace health and wellbeing issues. Managers often aren't trained in how to support employees when they have health issues and research shows that the sooner a manager has a meaningful conversation with a member of their team when they are unwell the better.
Our team can guide and support you through the occupational health referral process, how to start the conversation with your employees and how best to help them remain or return to work safely. This can be through practical advice in the referral process, understanding the advice provided, and the next steps in implementing the advice.
We specialise in working with Cumbria-based businesses, both SMEs and larger employers, and we currently work with over 500 companies based in the manufacturing, education, public sector, charity and professional services sectors.
We were awarded a SEQOHS accreditation (Safe Effective Quality Occupational Health Service) in 2023 which is the result of the team’s hard work and dedication to providing an exceptionally high standard in occupational health to Cumbria.
