National Physical Laboratory

NPL is the UK's National Metrology Institute, developing and maintaining the national primary measurement standards. NPL have 28 Science groups supporting measurement and innovation including Materials Characterisation, Gas Metrology, Surface and Electro Chemistry, Nuclear Materials and Testing, Inspection and Monitoring, Temperature and Humidity amongst many others. We can help with all aspects of measurement and materials performance, validation, verification and data collection. We can provide testing from over 400 NPL laboratories and projects will be supported by subject experts. We can assist from initial modelling to prototype and system tests.
