Cambridge Multi-Physics Limited
CMP is a Simulation as a Service (SaaS) company which develops and markets cloud-native Simulation and Analysis (S&A) software products for engineering and scientific applications.
The products are the outcome of 25-years research at the University of Cambridge and offer advanced computational multiphysics simulation capabilities for problems involving interactions of the four states of matter at extreme conditions, such as magnetically-confined fusion and high-energy beam ablation of geological materials.
The products run on massively parallel cloud-native computer architectures on a Simulation as a Service (SaaS) basis, and they are accessed by means of a web-enabled app, providing 24/7 secure access to the products via web browsers from any desktop or mobile device.
The user interface is designed to make the products easy to use, making non-expert users more effective, thus unleashing more benefits from simulation and analysis technology adoption in industry (democratisation of specialist knowledge).
The SaaS service reduces the burden on end-user companies to provide infrastructure and IT integration skills to deploy S&A in their organisations and ensures all calculations use the latest release of each module.
